As the two gentlemen wander out in the woods, they soon become surrounded in the vicinity if the Dead.

Much like Pumpkinhead & Trixie, Ash aint gonna be dragging this Werewolf Kid with him this whole trip as Ash is a bit of a loner, but when trouble brews all around them, it’s likely that he’ll have to pass that difference about him & fend off alongside the kid.

Ironically, this would be the ploy between Ash and those two others kids he tagged with in the "Ash vs Evil Dead" series, which had him working solo, preferably, only to be teaming up with his little squad to battle out the Zombie horde. Whatta twist, no?
The line that Ash gives out on the last panel is taken from the AMC special where Bruce Campbell is hosting a Horror special & states that very line in a Bruce-like tone when he becomes surrounded by Zombies. It was so funny, I had to insert in here myself.
